JET PUMP W/INJECTOR KIT FOR DEEP WELLS (DOUBLE PIPE ADAPTOR)

Specifications:

• Well pump for deep wells

• Max Suction: 49 ft.
• 115/230 Volt
• 1-1/4" Inlet & Outlet
• Includes pre-charged tank
• Maximum head: 262 Ft.

• The tank is 5 gallons and the pressure switch is an automatic shut off
• Electrical wire & pipe NOT included-Sold separately

Some other helpful info you might need:
Suction is the amount of vertical rise that water can be PULLED outward from its hole or pit....
Head is the amount of line that the water can be PUSHED outward through, starting from wherever the pump sits.
Generally those terms are given as maximum values using the size lines that the pump was fitted for at the time of manufacture.
They are also "assumed" to be "straight-line events" with no bends or corners to pull or push the water through.
Hope that helps you understand those terms a bit better.

BE CERTAIN THE PUMP IS SET TO THE VOLTAGE YOU'RE HOOKING IT UP TO BEFORE TURNING THE POWER ON.
Sounds simple, but don't forget to do this or you will burn out a brand new motor instantly.
Have a certified electrician hook it up if need be.

Check Valve/Foot Valve/One-Way Valve (All three are the same thing, but known by various names) are REQUIRED for the proper operation of any well water pump system.
Be sure you have installed a WORKING ONE at the BOTTOM of your well pipe before connecting this or any other pump, regardless of whether it's Hand/Manual or Electric Powered.
(Nowhere else in the system will work properly. It MUST be at the bottom-PERIOD)
Without one at the bottom, no pump will ever hold it's water-prime. (As noted by observing the pressure gauges dropping after the pump shuts off)
Also check your horizontal pipes underground and the vertical down the well pipes for leaks when this happens (ALL Connections/Kinks/Etc).

Just common sense, but it seems to get forgotten often when people are in a panic due to water outages.
