Below is a link to a page with an online calculator that shows the various standard payment styles that are normally used everywhere out there on the web, along with their fees & costs, all on one page, and in ascending order for easy comparison.
Some you'll recognise, some you won't.

The link will open in a different window so that you can refer back to this page for the example numbers, and of course, to continue your shopping afterwards.

As an example using round numbers and for easy calculations...
Lets say an average transaction is an even $100.00
And that there are an even 10 sales per day...
  10 Transactions per day....
 365 Days per year....equals...
3650 Transactions per year...

Now lets go to the link at the right of this page...
On that page, choose the tab:..... "Annual Sales"
Type in $100.00 for.................... "Average Sales"
Type in 3650 for......................... "How Many Of These Per Year?"
Click.......................................... "Help Me Save!"

After the calculator re-groups its figures...
Scroll down through the various payment types to see what different brands each cost.
Over $10,000.00 to $12,000.00 more for using the "leading" types vs. those chosen here!!
Those costs are ALWAYS passed on to the consumer at other websites.
Here, those methods aren't even used, so there aren't those costs to pass onto you.

FYI - In the time since this calculator was made...
Many vendors except the (top) one used here have increased their fees AGAIN.
So the actual cost for some of them is even more now than what's shown on the calculator.

As for the card types that are accepted here...
They carry the major logo's, and can be used for in-store/at the cash register shopping.
AND have the ability to email cash & payments to vendors, family, and friends!
(Try that with your standard "Preferred Member" gold-card!)
Oh, and one more thing... They're FREE.  ...How cool is that?

THERE'S NO CREDIT CARD INFO KEPT OR SENT THIS WAY.
Security is something that becomes more critical each and every day...
So...Why take a chance when you don't have to?

Payment methods are only one of many factors as to how prices can be kept down.
All factors work together toward a savings for the buyer, instead of a gain for the broker.
Hopefully now more buyers can understand how simple it really is to save some money.
