The shaft holder method isn't some cheap nut & bolt binding method...
It's the same REAL wedge-lock system used by International Harvester (IHC).
Also, many various size disc & shaft combinations are available depending on your specific needs.
Replacement parts are readily available.

BEST OF ALL...
The arch design of this hiller vs other "flat" style means that you'll be able to use this implement MUCH further into the growing season than you would with other types!
Plants get bigger from seed going into summer and then again especially on into harvest time.
Flat-straight types can chop, break and rip the tops off your crops if you try to use those on a mature vegetable stand.
Now take another look at this welded arc design.
With its longer disc shaft sizes will allow for full season cultivating or hilling of most farm crops grown to full height.
That in itself makes this a better all around choice!

A 3-point tractor attachment that can be customized to shape, ridge, bed and help cultivate your garden.
This frame is constructed of sturdy tubular steel with solid welds for durability.
The frame has category 1 lift arms and two tool bars that are 15-3/8 in. long.
The tool bars will accommodate IHC-style wedge clamps and bolts.
Based on your bedding needs, clamp assemblies can easily be adjusted.
Select any point from a minimum row width of 31 in. to a maximum row width 52 inch.

Use the arch frame & discs to help prepare your garden beds for planting.
With a variety of optional accessories and row width adjustments, this is an affordable beginning to your harvest.

Comes with the 16 in. disc hillers with 16 inch shanks to create raised garden beds or cover your crops as they grow.
The disc hub has 4 bolts and contains bearings to resist on wear and tear.
Attached to your tool bar use two of these disc bedders to move your soil inwardly or outwardly efficiently in one pass.

The 16 inch disc hillers are used in a series of two.
Each attached to a tool bar, and opposing each other to create raised garden beds or cover a crop such as potatoes.
Adjust the width and depth of the hilling disc shafts for your specific requirements.
The 16 inch steel disc is attached with a hub that has a four bolt mounting pattern with 5 in. on center spacing.
Each hub is assembled with two bearings to help resist wear and tear while building your garden beds.

Clamp:
This wedge clamp is made to use with a IHC tool bar.
It is made to work with a shank and wedge bolt to secure the shank on to the tool bar.
