CATEGORY 0, 3 POINT HITCH, BELT DRIVE MASSEY FERGUSON MODEL 550 ROTOTILLER
This is a used item.
Model 550 Massey Ferguson, belt drive roto tiller.
36 inch width, can be shortened to 24 inch width if necessary for your application.
The paint is faded and there is some surface rust but the unit is functional.
Requires a category 0 tractor with 3pt hitch and belt drive PTO.
Shipping not available-
Practical size for small to large gardens or for small farm produce and homestead operations.
Requires your own Massey Ferguson category 0 garden tractor with belt drive pto.
Other brands may or may not be compatable depending on their design.
The advantage to belt drive is deliberate slippage.
Breakage or injury can occur when an immovable object is struck.
When breaking new ground for gardens, and roots or rocks are encountered, damage is less likely.
Care must always be observed. Consult an owners manual for proper use.
Estimated hourly production:
Approx 8,190sq ft (0.18+ acres) at 0.375mph, up to 32,760sq ft (0.73+ acres) at 1.5mph per hour (max).
Results will vary according to soil and tractor condition, along with operator expierience.
